Nina and Elliott met through Josh (Bestman), in early spring of 2012. They dated throughout the summer, made it through Hurricane Sandy and officially became boyfriend and girlfriend (awww) at the David Letterman Show on December 20th, 2012. They went through an arduous 2 years of long distance going back and forth between California and New York. Finally in January, 2015 Nina made the move the San Diego.
Nina and Elliott were on a two week trip to Italy with Josh (Bestman) and Gabby (Bridesmaid). They started off in Rome, rented a car and drove to Pisa to their next top in Cinque Terre, where Elliott chose the beautiful city to Propose. The events leading up to our proposal were a bit chaotic, but that only made the experience better. Once we made it to the proposal spot, it was absolutely breathtaking. The sun was setting and the weather was perfect. Nina was hungry and worried about being late for dinner reservations, but that just reassured Elliott that she had no idea the proposal was coming. She thought it was ridiculous that we were both so hungry and I wanted to climb down the rocks to ‘take a picture for Instagram.’ We got down to the rocks and Elliott asked this nice woman (our photographer) to take a few pictures of us. We're smiling and Elliott is being romantic and cute when Nina says "Babe let's wait one sec while this lady takes our picture" when she hears "...and I want you to be my wife". That's when Elliott got down on one knee and everything he rehearsed went out the window and all that's remember is "Will you make me the happiest man and be my wife?" It was one of the most memorable moments of our lives. After Nina said yes all of the local boats were honking their horns and the tourists around us were cheering and yelling.
