Life has been put back into the golf course at Tamarack Resort. 9 holes will open Labor day weekend to accompany the driving range. This course is absolutely beautiful!

Payette Lake

Payette Lake

McCall, ID 83638

This lake is beautiful year around. Access the lake from downtown McCall or drive through Ponderosa State Park and take a walk along the lake's edge.

Ponderosa State Park Visitors Center

Ponderosa State Park Visitors Center

1921 Davis Avenue, McCall, ID 83638

Ponderosa State park is a beautiful state park located in McCall Idaho. It is a state park so expect to pay an entrance fee, however, the views are well worth the expense. Walk along the lake edge, plant a chair in the sand beach and stick your toes in the water.

McCall

McCall is a great little resort town located just 40 minutes north of Tamarack. During September the tourists have all gone home so the speed of life has slowed back down to a sleepy little mountain town. But you can still enjoy Squatch Treats where glitter comes on every ice cream cone. Grab a burger and shake at My Father's Place or if you want a more adult drink, head over to Salmon River Brewing and enjoy a beer and a burger on their rooftop deck.

Tamarack Resort

Tamarack is the BEST! If you like mountain biking, there are miles and miles of downhill and flat terrain trails for every ability level. Maybe you aren't into extreme sports, that ok too! There are multiple pickleball courts located at the resort for you to experience. And don't forget Seven Devils Pub and The Reserve for dinner.

For those of you who want to get back to nature for an hour or so, there are many, many, many local hikes to choose from. Choose your own adventure! End up at a mountain lake or have lunch by a waterfall. Louie Lake is a favorite!
