There is a swimming hole, bikes to borrow, beautiful hikes, and art galleries within walking distance. Attached to the Inn is also the a restaurant/bar called the Phelps Barn Pub with really good food.
The town of Saxton’s River has a river going through it and there are many points where you can access the river to wade in it or at the deeper parts swim. There is also a section of it that has falls and you can slide down the rocks.
This is one of the bigger antique shops but there are many more in and around Bellows Falls.
The Harpoon Brewery is a 45 minute drive from the Grafton Inn. It has some outdoor games to play and bar food. The hours for brewery tours are: Friday: 5pm - 7pm Saturday: 11am - 5pm Sunday: 12pm - 4pm
The White Mountains are only a couple hours away from Grafton and are absolutely beautiful. If you have a free day or two, head to the Crawford Train Depot and set out on a bike tour. There are a couple of nice loops that start and end there. Or, Notch State Park is close and is a great place to pitch a tent or break out the hiking boots.
Visit our favorite local farm stand. It has changed a lot over the years and now has a full lunch menu and indoor/outdoor seating as well as produce grown on the farm.
