We're Getting Married!!!

Growing up on literally opposite sides of the world Benjamin and Nella met their freshman year at West Coast Baptist College! Both having a love and passion for basketball they began hanging out together and playing basketball together. Time again and again they would debate who is better at basketball and of course it was Nella!!! They continued hanging out together and eventually realized there was something special between the two! Both pursuing God's will for their life focusing on their education and walk with God, the Lord brought the two into each other's live's and they soon knew they had found the one!!! They both knew this relationship was special because they put God in the center of the it and God continued to open doors!

Nella had always dreamed of being proposed to on the beach and Benjamin would always say "No I'll just do something little nothing to fancy." Their first trip together they went to visit Nella's family in Mobile, Al and little did Nella know that Benjamin had planned out her dream proposal! He got help from Nella's mom and couple of her closest friends to help set up and make it the dreamiest proposal ever! While Nella thought they were going to take some cute pictures on the boardwalk Nella's mom was setting everything up on the beach, later Betsi (Nella's best friend) was distracting Nella and Benjamin went to his spot!!! On the beach with the most perfect sunset Benjamin asked Nella to marry him and of course she said yesss because here we are now!!!

Many people ask and question us, "Your only 18 and 19 years old why not wait four five years to get married?" When we met it wasn't something we were searching for it was all the Lord's guidance and direction on our life! Understanding yes we are young yes we have a lot to grow in BUT we know that we know! God has proved over and over that this is the right timing! Getting married young is not for everyone but it is for us! Thank you to everyone who is standing behind us in this new chapter of our life!
