They watched Captain Marvel, had lunch at Wingstop, grabbed boba, went shopping, and took beautiful sunset pictures. It was a beautiful day. On May 24, 2019, Nel asked Apple to be his senior prom date. Apple's ideal prom date would have to be cute, funny, sweet, and nice. Nel fits all the list. For Apple, it was a magical night even without glass slippers. For Nel, it was stepping into an enchanting night with my forever prom date. And YES, from a prom date to a forever date, they become an official couple. Four years into the relationship, Nel popped the question on September 30, 2023. It was their second year going to the Light Fest Festival, and Nel knew Apple's favorite Disney movie was Tangled. Apple feels like she lived her Rapunzel moment.
