Question

What time should we arrive, and what can you tell us about the venue?

Answer

Guests are welcome to arrive at the venue starting at 6:00 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 PM, so please plan to arrive with enough time to get seated and settled. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner reception will all take place outdoors, so we recommend dressing comfortably for the weather (sorry we chose August!). Later in the evening, we’ll head inside for dancing and more drinks—we can’t wait to celebrate with you all night long!

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal! Think garden party chic — it’s a romantic outdoor setting, so feel free to get a little fancy if you’d like or stay on the casual side if that makes you more comfortable . The ceremony will take place on the terrace just before sunset, so don’t forget to bring sunglasses! You’ll thank us when the sun hits just right (and later when you’re on the dance floor).

I heard there’s a special guest book—what’s the story?

Answer

Yes! Our guest book is very special to us. Instead of a traditional book, we’re using our family Bible. You’ll find highlighters available so you can highlight a favorite verse (or two!) that’s meaningful to you and sign your name in the margins near by. If you don’t have a favorite verse or don’t feel comfortable choosing one, no worries — you’re welcome to sign your name in the margins, just like a yearbook. We can’t wait to look back on your words for years to come.

What time will we be fed?

Answer

Dinner will be served around 8:00–8:30 PM. In the meantime, we’ve got you covered — there will be plenty of appetizers during cocktail hour to keep you happy (and to make sure no one gets hangry before the main meal!).

Is there a block of rooms reserved for guests?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a block of rooms at the local DoubleTree by Hilton. You can find all the booking details under the “TRAVEL” tab on our website. Be sure to reserve your room by July 12th to secure the group rate. Bonus: the hotel will be providing a shuttle at the end of the night to get you home safely — no need to worry about driving!

Are kids or plus ones allowed?

Answer

We’re keeping our celebration adults-only and a bit more intimate. That means no children, and plus ones are only included if they were named on your invitation. If your invite was addressed just to you, we’ve reserved a spot just for you! We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together.

Do I need to bring money for the bar?

Answer

We’ll be having a partial open bar — your first couple of cocktails are on us! After that, it’ll switch to a cash bar for the rest of the evening. So be sure to bring a little something if you’d like to keep the drinks flowing. Cheers!
