Join us for our special day!
Stay overnight, or take the ferry back and forth to the mainland before and after the festivities. Either way you join us, we can’t wait to see you. Option 1: Stay at The Grove Hotel Two Nights (Friday, the night before our wedding day, and Saturday, the night of.) Option 2: Stay at The Grove Hotel One Night (either Friday, the night before our wedding day, or Saturday, the night of.) Option 3: Arrive in Sayville the day of the service. Take a free ferry to Cherry Grove before the service. Leave the island and return to Sayville on the ferry after the reception. *Free Ferries from Sayville to Cherry Grove will be scheduled before the service and after the reception. (There is no access to the island via car.) We also will have limited charter bus service to the ferry from Midtown and the Bronx for guests in need of assistance during travel.
Travel Note
Sayville Ferry Service
Cherry Grove, Fire Island is accessible by boat only using the Sayville Ferry Service at 41 River Road, Sayville NY. Parking is available on-site for a daily fee. All ferry transportation is pre-paid by the wedding party. (Boat schedules to be announced by SFS in the Spring.) Ferry service will be provided before and after the event. Staying on island the night of the wedding or night before is optional - Grove Hotel details below.
Train
Long Island Railroad to Sayville
A great way to get to Fire Island is to take the Long Island Railroad from NYC Penn Station to Sayville (Schedules available using the MTA Train Time App.) Transfer to the Colonial Shuttle which drops off directly in front of the ferry terminal.

We will have limited charter bus service to the Sayville Ferry Service from Midtown and the Bronx for elderly guests and guests in need of assistance during travel. This same charter will return guests to their point of origin after the reception. Time tables TBD with the Spring Ferry Schedule.
