Masks and hand sanitizers will be readily available to guests upon arrival. In case, however, please arrive with your own masks as you greet friends and family. The Daniel Island Club requires guests to wear masks at all times when not eating and drinking.
We respectfully ask all guests take a COVID-19 PCR test (as opposed to a rapid test) at least 4 - 5 days before the wedding day. If your test is positive or you've been in contact with someone who has been positive in the last 14 days, we ask that you please stay home and take care of yourselves.
Our venue and vendors will be taking temperature checks at the door to further minimize risks. If you don't feel well, please stay home and take care of yourselves.
Please minimize handshakes and hugs and practice social distancing as needed. We understand human contact is something that is missed, but the risk is high and the safety of our guests is top priority.
The Daniel Island Club has kindly agreed to help us safely host the ceremony outdoors. Heating lamps and blankets will be provided to guests but a warm coat or jacket is recommended in case we have an uncharacteristically cool evening!
In an effort to minimize risk, dinner will be a plated service. Please note on your RSVP which menu option you most prefer. We will also be serving hors d'oeuvres and cocktails prior to dinner. A DJ will provide background music during the reception, but due to safety concerns we are unable to have a bustling dance floor. While it may sound a little like a 'Footloose' wedding, we look forward to sharing a great meal and even better conversation with our nearest and dearest (and may even play a round of 'Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon' while we're at it).
