Originally coworkers at Pinthouse Brewing, Dina and I didn't really get to fully know eachother outside of the workplace. Fast forward about a year later and we had spontaneously begun talking over Facebook until I invited her out for a few drinks at a local cidery, and what was a really fun date turned into two, then five, until here we are today, fresh off of our first trip to Europe & engaged!

During our first trip to Europe we had arranged plans to see a renown castle in Schwerin, Germany and leading up to the trip planning I knew that if there was any right location to pop the question; that would be it. After an extended tour of the castle grounds with my heart nearly leaping out of my chest, I decided that we should "take a photo" at the front steps near the garden.. except; I had set it to take a video and left it on the tripod and ran up to Dina. We then smiled to a fake countdown, and then I got on one knee and humbly asked if she would be my life partner. We later went into the town square where we had amazing champagne to celebrate, and the owners of the restaurant even made an unexpected public announcement of the engagement to what seemed to us to be probably half of the town of Schwerin gathered in the square for a local music fest. To say this was the trip of a lifetime... would be an understatement.
