One month prior to meeting , one night before going to sleep, I prayed to God.  My prayer being very specific. I prayed for the Lord to place a man in my life that would love me the same as I loved him, one who was loyal, hard working, sincere, and would respect me and my children. About a week later, I received a text from my good friend Holly and she said "John works with someone and the two of you have to meet!" Well, as you can imagine...God's timing couldn't have been more perfect. Although the distance between us was an hour and half away, both of us had a lot going on so we were patient with getting together. We started talking through Facebook first and then texting mostly, for around a month and a half we just talked back and forth, and then finally we had our first date! Our date was amazing and it was like we had known each other our whole lives. When he dropped me off after our date, I couldn't stop smiling! He sent me an email about a week later and asked to see me again, once again my heart was happy! After this we kept in touch and we would see each other when time would allow. Soon after, I knew he was the one, not only did he steal a kiss on our first date but he stole my heart.  Loving him was easy and effortless, I knew God had a plan all along and this was the kind of love I had been praying for! I am thankful everyday for him and the life we share, for Holly and John for introducing us, and above all I am thankful for the Lord answering my prayer and sending him my way!
