Hello, I’m Joyce. I am Jayden & Jayla’s mom and Cayla’s (14) G-mommy. I currently live in Las Vegas, NV and have so for 12 years. Originally, I am from New York. I first met Sennesia in Guam while on Active-Duty. Nece had my attention the first time we interacted but, not like one would think. I truly thought, who is this girl, is she crazy? After about the first 10 minutes of talking with her I fell in love with my new best friend. Now 16 years later, I still ask who is this woman, is she crazy but, only because she is a force, her name is synonymous with love, friendship, sisterhood, hard worker, mom, wife, daughter and so many others. Yes, she is definitely crazy but, I love her crazy butt and wouldn’t trade her for anything. She is my sister that God allowed me to pick for myself.

My brother! As brothers we spent a majority of our childhood bonding over everything that a childhood should encompass, exploring all the wonders of our awesome home, St. Croix. You were my wing man and I, yours. Even today, this holds true. Our trips together are legendary in that we genuinely enjoy spending every minute together. Who could forget waking up on a Saturday morning to finish off a box of Cocoa Pebbles in one shot while we watched cartoons. We now share a common love for cigars. What are the chances that both brother’s would have an affinity for tobacco. You have evolved into a man that as your brother, can say I am extremely proud of because I have seen each step and understand that you made the sacrifices necessary to be a great person. My name is Henry and Derick is my uncle but we consider ourselves more like brothers because that's how we grew up in St. Croix. I officially met Niecey and her daughters about 4 years ago and I made them some Johnny cakes and they loved me ever since..lol . Little known fact about me is that I'm your modern day MacGyver.... because I'm good with my hands at least that's what my wife says.

Candace "Candy" Witherspoon, I was born and partially raised in Guyana, South America, by way of Brookly, NY. I pride myself in being a family centric person. My husband's and I love story is a complicated one, but he's mine and I'm gonna stick beside him. We have a 23 year old son that will be graduating college in a few months. It's hard to believe he held Cayla and Sydney as babies. Sennesia and I met in 2007, on the beautiful island of Guam and the story is history from there. We fight like crazy, but she's like the sister I never had, so that's expected. I can't wait to see her walk down the isle as she embarks on this new chapter of her life.

Hailing from Davison, Michigan. I met Neicy in 2010 in England when we both worked together. I guess the Air Force really wanted me and Neicy to become best friends because not too long after we met they sent us two to South France on a “deployment” together. That deployment sealed the deal on the everlasting friendship we now have today. She’s the one that taught me how to fry chicken!!! 🤣😂😁

Derick and I shared a childhood bond growing up in St. Croix that one can only have with a sibling, hence he is my brother from another mother. For my Crucians, we go back like Brow Soda, Island Dairies and Sunny Isles Ponderosa. We spent every weekend at each others houses racing bmx bikes in the backyard, playing video games, hunting birds with pellet guns and watching our dads be the best Crucian cowboys they could be. Today I work as a Staff Software Engineer and live in Northern Virginia with my beautiful wife Stacey, our two children Lailah and Kameron and our two dogs Marley and Mikko. One fun fact about myself, I once bike packed 243mi from Damascus, VA to Brevard, North Carolina.

Derick’s one of the youngest cousins in our family from when I was growing up on St. Croix but he has an old soul. Even though I am much older than him, we are very close, and we have a lot of things in common like hunting, guns and food. I remember when he was a kid, he was very picky eater. Now he is the complete opposite and He should have his own cooking show.

I was fortunate to have known Derick for quite some time now. We met in 1999 in Korea when he had hair. We immediately hit it off, maybe it was for our love of food or the commonality of us being both islanders. We immediately became brothers. We kept in touch on a regular basis throughout the years and eventually met up again in Colorado. Same time I met his beautiful wife to be Niecey. It was like we saw each other yesterday! In fact he owes me $3 from Korea and he still haven't paid me back yet. Much love bruddah!
