Jessica and Nehemiah's story began in the halls of Oakview Elementary as fourth graders. Over the years, their lives intertwined through overlapping friend circles and shared experiences on the track team. In the summer of 2019, a spontaneous outing in Chicago unfolded into a date which changed their relationship forever. Immediately after, Nehemiah was deployed to Afghanistan and Jessica moved to Georgia, but they continued to grow and blossom their relationship through many calls, texts and prayers. On January 4, 2020, they made their relationship official. Since that extraordinary day, their bond has been nurtured by their shared commitment to one another and their faith in God. As they embark on the sacred covenant of marriage, they look forward to a future filled with love, laughter and devotion to one another.
