The seating will be arranged so that you and your family are together but 6 feet away from other people during the ceremony. The reception will be in a room that will be no more than half full due to restrictions so tables will be distanced from each other and each table will have ample room for each guest. I know it's easier said than done but don't worry...we got you!
All food will be staff-served so though you can have whatever you'd like, an employee (all of which will be properly masked) will be doing the scooping and placing of the items onto your plate or cute little cocktail napkin.
Seriously? Kind of surprised you'd be asking this question to be honest. Where have you been since Tom Hanks tested positive??!?! Yes. Anytime you and your loved ones are on the venue grounds, you are required to wear a mask covering both your nose AND mouth. The only time guests are allowed to remove the mask is while eating. This is a CDC requirement and we are taking it very seriously. Mask wearing will be strictly enforced throughout the event.
Cocktail attire, please. No flowing gowns or tuxedos needed but try to still look your best, for Pete's sake. If you'd like to wear Indian clothes, please reach out to us and we can provide you a recommendation on where to buy from.
There is not. However, the hotel where we booked a room rate is about 15 minutes from the venue so perhaps carpooling between guests might be good.
If your invitation says, “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. We hope you can understand that with the COVID-19 restrictions, we were forced to adjust our guest list considerably. In addition, for you fun virtual guests, you were invited because we want you to still be there with us in this cool technological way even though the world is still kind of burning. With that, your virtual invitation is for YOU so please do not forward our live stream link to anyone else.
Ok cool. So, for the few of you who read all the way to the end of the FAQs, let me let you in on a little secret. Neha is AMAZING. Think about the smartest, most beautiful, funniest woman you've ever known. You thinking of someone pretty cool? Great! Now, imagine a smarter, more beautiful, way funnier woman kicks down the door and tells that girl to get outta here! That's Neha. Ira could not be luckier to have found Neha and, to think, she actually likes him too. Now THAT is luck!
Oh, come on. You're still here? Ok fine. Ira is great. You happy? He's like moderately intelligent, a tad funny...not too much to look at but we have seen worse. But Neha loves him and that's all that really matters.
Now we're getting somewhere. I don't see how Seinfeld isn't the best but The Office is really outstanding. It's got heart but Seinfeld has Kramer. Look, just come to the wedding. It will be really fun and we can totally talk about this more at that time. XOXO, Ira :)
