Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) - New Delhi

This is the only airport in Delhi; it's a good base to fly in and out of northern India. There is local metro service from the airport into the heart of the city (very safe, check hours!) or you can hail a pre-paid taxi service at kiosks right outside the airport.
