If you're looking for a cute, outdoor mall with lots off food options (especially for a brunch/lunch before the ceremony Saturday), this is the place to hit! Just don't stuff yourself in preparation for the reception later... :)

Birkdale Village

We LOVE the Renaissance Festival, I personally have gone every year since moving to Charlotte (all dressed up to blend in of course!). Open Saturdays and Sundays!!!

Carolina Renaissance Festival

Our first unofficial date (Travis called it a "hang out" at the time) was to Scarowinds on October 13th, 2017. Who doesn't love roller coasters?!

Scarowinds at Carowinds Amusement Park

This 104 acre lakefront park includes picnic sites, lighted tennis courts, walking trails, a gazebo, and a sunning beach (no swimming). This was one of the locations we took our engagement photos!
