FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please be seated at the church by 2:15pm as the ceremony will start promptly at 2:30pm. We can't wait to see you there!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation indicates the number of seats reserved for you and whether you have a plus one. Please remember to RSVP for both yourself and your guest!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

As much as we love all your littles, we want you to enjoy a night away and to let loose and celebrate with us. We kindly ask that you respect our decision to include only the children who have been asked to have a role in our wedding day, and RSVP only for those named on your invitation.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is black tie optional; Men are suggested to come in suits or tuxedos and women in floor length gowns or sophisticated cocktail dresses. Please refrain from wearing white or similar shades (ivory, cream, etc.).

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is free parking available at both St. Nectarios for the church ceremony as well as at Venuti's Banquet Hall for the reception. The best entrance to use at the church is the one that is farthest left at the building.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend staying at The Westin Chicago Northwest. Please see the "Travel" tab for more information about our hotel block there!
