We met through mutual friends...mutual Facebook friends, that is! Jonathan came up on my suggested friends list, and I thought, "he's cute" and added him thanks to some pushing by my roommate, Lauren. Turns out, we had real life mutual friends, who then helped us get connected in real life.

Jonathan sneakily brought us back to our first date spot: the Voxman Music Building. We rode the elevator up to the 4th floor, and once the doors opened, I noticed something out of place: there were candles lining the terrace, and a camera perfectly poised to capture a table set up at the edge of the terrace. Jonathan walked me out to the table, hushing my incessant questions. I don't quite remember what he said, but it was something about our love for each other and our pursuit of Jesus in our relationship. Before I knew it, he was down on one knee asking "Will you marry me?" and I said yes!
