July 16, 2022. It’s a debatable night. Kaitlyn is certain that she texted first. But Matthew is certain he did. Either way, the conversation started and flowed without effort. They talked for hours about work, sports, and their lives. After two weeks of talking on Facebook, Matthew sent Kaitlyn his number and asked her to text him. Kaitlyn did. And the texting turned into phone calls, which turned into FaceTime. August 20, 2022. Matthew nervous, yet confident called Kaitlyn asking her to his girlfriend. Kaitlyn shocked, shuttered a very quiet yes. Fast forward to May 20, 2023. Kaitlyn had made plans for a photo shoot. Matthew decided that it would be a prefect time to ask Kaitlyn to be his wife. Obviously, Kaitlyn said yes! March 2, 2024 is the day that Matthew and Kaitlyn will start the rest of their lives together.
