What is the latest time to RSVP?

Thursday, June 11, which gives us a month to make arrangements. If you need to change your answer later than June 11, please be sure to talk to us directly.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Yes, we would love for them to come! Please let us know on the RSVP form, so we can make sure to have the correct head count for dinner.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, please bring them along if you can! We have arranged for kids' meals and for lawn games to entertain them. Again, just let us know in the RSVP form so we can plan for it.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

For the Indian dinner party on Friday, July 10, please arrive between 6 and 6:30 pm. The aarti will begin at 6:30 pm and the Hindustani concert will begin at 6:45 pm. The event will end by 9 pm. For the wedding on Saturday, July 11, please arrive between 5 and 5:30 pm, so that you do not miss any part of the festivities! We are hoping for all guests to be seated by 5:25 pm. The wedding vows will take place from 5:30 to 5:40 pm. After the ceremony, there will be cocktails, dinner and dancing. The event will end by 10 pm.

Where should I park?

For the Indian dinner party on Friday, July 10, please park in the parking lot of Ramona Community Center, which is adjacent to the building. For the wedding on Saturday, July 11, there will be valet parking.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We suggest cocktail dresses, saris or other Indian festival wear, or business casual attire.

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Indian dinner party on Friday, July 10 will be entirely indoors. On Saturday, July 11, the wedding ceremony will be outdoors in the Fig House garden, but dinner will be indoors. The ground is entirely level and wheelchair-accessible.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

It's very important that you let us know about this. Please give us as many details as possible in the RSVP form. We'll do our best to accommodate you. We'll also hand out menus during the events with information about ingredients and spice levels of all the dishes served. If you have questions, please ask us at any time.

Will alcohol be served in the events?

Answer

In the Indian dinner party, there won't be any alcohol. In the wedding, there will be an open bar and champagne during dinner. Non-alcoholic drinks will also be available.
