Beach Wedding

The Muncaster Beach House

Since she was about twelve years old, Neena has spent a week at the beach with her little sister Maya, her friends Emma and Lily, their mom Susan, and their grandmother Kathy at Kathy's beach house in Surfside Beach, Texas every summer. There were always lots of good friends brought along to stay, and every summer was about making good food, going to favorite restaurants, making bonfires, floating in the ocean, and chasing dolphins down the beach. Because of all this, the Muncaster Beach House became one of Neena's favorite places in the whole wide world. When Neena and Jed got engaged, they immediately thought of having the wedding at the beach house but they took a while to think about what would be the best place to have it. Ultimately, they decided the beach house would make them the happiest, so Neena gave Kathy a call and she said yes! Many thanks to Kathy and John Muncaster for letting the Stark wedding take place at their beloved beach house.

Engaged!

October 28th, 2018

On a warm Sunday in October, Neena went out to lunch with friends and got her nails done. She knew a proposal was coming soon, but had no idea it was happening that day. Her friends Taylor and Eva were tasked with getting her to Centennial Park around sunset for the big moment, and it was a hard one, because Neena is always opinionated and inquistive. Somehow, everyone pulled it off and they ended up in the right spot at the right time, with Neena none the wiser due to Jed photoshopping his work schedule for the day. The girls were walking through the park when Neena spotted Jed sitting with his guitar and starting backing up. At that moment she knew. Jed sang the chorus of "The Last Night" by Skillet for her, one of her favorite songs, and then popped the question. Neena immediately said "yes!" and then they celebrated with their friends and took some photos to document the occasion.

Officially Dating

January 26th, 2018

Jed and Neena had met on Tinder a few weeks prior and had started hanging out pretty much everyday, but they hadn't gone "official" yet. Jed invited Neena over and made dinner for her, his speciality of Cajun chicken pasta. After dinner, Jed was playing guitar for Neena and used the frets on his guitar to spell out that day's date. When Neena finally figured it out, Jed asked Neena to be official.
