We would love to see our guests in garden attire. Semi-formal and dressy casual is recommended. We invite you to dress in sundresses, floral prints, suits or dress shirts in lighter hues! Think spring pastels and comfort appropriate for a garden wedding.
While we would love to have everyone here for our big day, there is a cap on attendance at the venue. We will do our best to accommodate requests for a plus one as needed. For most invities a plus one is visible on the website RSVP. If you have specific questions please reach out to us!
The Duncan Estate has designated parking and an attendant will assist our guests with partking. This is a historic site so please avoid driving on the grass or parking in areas not designated.
The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony. There is space available on the estate grounds and in the house for earlier arrivals. Please enjoy the southern charm in the downstairs areas of the house and on the grounds. There are many photo opportunities in the spring in front of the house. We ask that if you arrive after 5:00pm that you wait until the ceremony has ended to join us.
We invite our guest to join us for the evening to celebrate our day. A program of the ceremony and evening events will be available for our guests upon arrival. Please join us for social hour after the ceremony, with a formal dinner and dancing to follow. Seating will be assigned so please text Donda Bennett at 828-230-5877 if you have a specific request for a table.
