We’re getting married!

Our love story is one of our favorite things to tell! We had both signed up for the same course, and introductory class for adding a minor in Christian Studies. We both ended up dropping the minor, but we know it was God’s plan for us to both be in that class ;) Within ten minutes of that first class ending, Ned had requested to follow me on Instagram. I was feeling very confident of myself, knowing that I immediately caught his eye. A friend and I had been talking about needing more guy friends at college. So…I decided to send Ned an email asking him to be my friend. Yep, you read that right! Ned says that he knew from the start he liked me, but I needed some more convincing. After all, I just wanted a friend, right? After many hangouts, a friend set us up on a double date to attend formal together. Ned was the gentleman he always is. However, I still wasn’t sure about him. We had our first official date at a hockey game, and Ned was not giving up. After he continued to pursue me with respect and kindness, I decided to give our relationship a shot! Obviously, that ended up being an amazing decision. We spent that summer in a long distance relationship as we both worked at camp counselors in differing states. Ya know what they said about distance making the heart grow fonder? That was definitely the case for us. Over the next year and a half, we fell in love and knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.
