Hello to all you wonderful people, and thank you for wanting to celebrate our marriage :) The people we love are spread out all across this country, so instead of asking everyone to come to us...we're going to throw parties in different cities to make it easier for you all!
We got married in a small event with just the minimum number of people to make this legally binding. We had an officiant, and a photographer who served as our witness. Also legally we were married in Poughkeepsie due to loophole semantics :P Don't tell anyone. We love you all, and we are excited to celebrate with you at one (or more?!) of the below events!
A small gathering for close friends and family to celebrate our getting married one week before!
We're going to be renting out Halyards in Brooklyn, putting together live music, and celebrating the night away with our east coast friends! Friends, Live Music, Pie, Hugs, Friends again, and fun! Cash Bar, no cover. If you want the full NYC experience, tell yourself there's a 2 drink minimum. There's not. But like...you get it.
Stop by anytime between 12-4pm for a casual gathering to celebrate getting married! See friends and family alike at Ned's favorite Portland haunt. Also his former employer. Thanks Ted. No agenda except a short speech by Ned around 230pm. Cash Bar, Small bites provided/we might order takeout. We haven't decided yet. The takeout will be Binga's Wingas. We're open to other suggestions.. No cover. Covers are weird in Maine. But pretty normal in New York City. Which is dumb.
So many incredible friends of ours are in the midwest, and we're coming to Chicago to celebrate with you all! Details coming soon, GET PUMPED.
We're going to come on out to the west coast to celebrate with all of our friends on the other side of the country! Expect fantastic food, games, and an amazing collection of friends.
