The closest and most convenient airport, it’s just a 40-minute drive to Santa Ynez. Most East Coast routes require one connection, but SBA is small, easy to navigate, and makes arrival simple. If you prefer the shortest drive once you land, SBA is the best option.
Flight
A great choice if you prefer a direct flight. LAX offers the most nonstop options from the East Coast. Just note that once you arrive, it’s about a 2-2.5 hour drive to Santa Ynez. If you’re comfortable with a longer drive or you’re turning it into a mini California road trip, LAX can be the most straightforward option.
