We’re Getting Married

Meeting Nedal is one of the most memorable moments in my life. We first met through a mutual family friend back in 2017. We became great friends and a part of the same friend group. I would have never imagined in a million years that I would soon become madly in love with this guy. Our first "conversation" began out of the blue through a text sent by him, with the words "Good morning beautiful”, it continued on this way day after day as we got to know each other. He was persistent, kind, & a true gentleman. I was unsure of the fact that he fancied me so much, as he was usually less spoken around myself and our group. What drew me to him was how tall and handsome I thought he was. At the time of meeting, he was just getting ready to open his family pizzeria and had been working long hours to build his business. The mutual passion we share for business has allowed me to learn so much about his, that I enjoyed helping them grow through any way I could. The process and growth of the business never separated us, but rather brought us closer together because it had been such an amazing yet challenging learning experience throughout the years for us both. Although we may make it look easy now, our journey has not always been. It was one that required a lot of time, patience and perseverance. I chose to support him in his dreams no matter what, because I believed in him and his pizza (best pizza in town)! In him, I found my soul mate and the love that I have been searching for all my life. He gets me in a way that no other can and supports me in every way possible. The quiet guy sitting across from me at events, became the love of my life and in him, I see my dreams, my hopes, my life, and my happiness. I would do the Empire pizza dinner dates 100x over again because that’s how grateful I am to have met him and even more grateful to be marrying my best friend!

The first time I met MizzMasri was through my brother's friend, who’s wife happened to be cousins with her. I would hang out with them from time to time but once I noticed Mariam, I started coming around a lot more. I immediately thought she was gorgeous and I had to keep asking my friend every time we would get to together if she was coming or not. After we started talking more and more, we all became good friends. One of the things that made me fall in love with her is how independent she was. We had just started our new family restaurant and she helped us grow through the whole process. She has a very good business mindset which helped us tremendously. The restaurant business is a very stressful occupation and talking to her everyday was definitely a stress relief for me. As we spoke more, I knew that she was the one through her understanding and patience of my abnormal schedule. Our dating life wasn’t your typical. Countless date nights at Empire over pizza and late night conversations in the parking lot after closing. I could always count on her to highlight my day by just seeing her for a few minutes. Although the restaurant took up majority of my time and money, I assured her that once it’s stable I would take the next step. Alhamdulillah although not easy, she has endured and stuck by my side since. Now we are counting down the days to where she will be mine forever iA.
