After a long day at the beach with her friend Janelle, Elizabeth walked into the 7Eleven Craig was working at to get slurpees for herself, her two children Bryce and Bryanna, and Nellie. That is when Craig first saw her and they added each other on social media. They began chatting, then started to go on dates, and the rest is history!

Craig is a wonderful musician, and has an organized band named Orphanage Fraternity with the best man Frank. He and Frank had been working hard on their first album and first show, and unbeknownst to Elizabeth, the proposal. At their first show at Orbit 19 Lounge, family and friends gathered to see the show, and when it was Orphanage Fraternity's 3rd song, All That Matters (Which Craig wrote for Elizabeth), Craig announced that these were in fact his one day wedding vows and then got on one knee and asked Elizabeth to marry him in front of all of their family, close friends, and bar patrons! How romantic is that!!!!
