House Or Rental
We’ll be staying at the beautiful Mas Terrats estate, where unique and cozy tipis will be set up on-site for guests who want the full experience. This is our recommended option as it will be more affordable than staying in town and food will be organised on-site. Please note: Staying in a tipi is optional and comes at an additional cost, which guests will be responsible for covering. See below for more details on tipis's and the costs for each tipi (prices are on the last page of the doc).
Flight
This is the closest airport to the venue. From Girona Airport, you have a few options: Use public transport to reach Girona. The bus leaves every 30 mins from the airport and takes you within walking distance of the centre of Girona. A private shuttle will be available to take guests directly to the venue from this bus station on 1/06. See more info further down this page. Take a taxi directly from the airport. Please note taxis are limited and this will have to be organised ahead of time. Hire a car at the airport and drive to Mas Terrats.
Flight
Although further away, Barcelona often offers more flight options and competitive fares. If you're flying into Barcelona, consider spending a day or two exploring the city before taking a train or bus to Girona, where you can catch the private shuttle to Mas Terrats. Trains leave hourly from Barcelona to Girona. The train station in Girona is next to the Bus station making it an easy transition if you want to leave Barcelona and get the shuttle to Mas Terrats on 01/06.
Shuttle

We are planning to arrange a group shuttle from central Girona on June 1st to the wedding venue in Pontós on the day of the wedding. This is to help make the journey easy and stress-free for those not driving. Timing and pickup location are still being finalized, but it will be from a central spot in Girona (likely near the main bus/train station). Shuttle

We are also looking into a return shuttle back to Girona after the wedding festivities on June the 4th. Again, the timing and logistics are still in the works, but we’ll make sure everyone gets back safely. Stay tuned for updates, and let us know on the RSVP form if you might be interested in using the shuttle service — it’ll help us plan! See more info in the FAQ section for now.
Travel Note
If you prefer alternative accommodation, we recommend staying in either Figueres or Girona, the closest towns to Mas Terrats. We especially suggest Girona—it’s a beautiful city worth spending at least a day exploring before the wedding. Please note that Mas Terrats is a fair drive from Girona (around 45 minutes), and taxis can be difficult to arrange, especially late at night or in rural areas. While we will share local taxi contacts closer to the time, we highly recommend renting a car if possible. This will give you much more flexibility for getting to and from the venue and for exploring the surrounding region during your stay.
