Neal and Stephanie met in April 2015. They spent a few months getting to know each other and on October 4, 2015 Neal officially asked Steph to be his girlfriend. They spent the next few years growing closer, more in love, and building the beginning of their life together.

For years Neal has always told Stephanie that he would propose “on a random Thursday Night”. On March 26, 2020 (in the beginning of what would turn out to be a worldwide, months-long, pandemic) he did exactly just that! On that day Neal had stopped at the store to grab a couple things for dinner and when he came home he told Steph he also picked up something else while he was out and got down on one knee! (side note-he had actually had the ring for a couple weeks.) After some phone calls and video chats with close family and friends, they celebrated with Taco Bell, because everything else was pretty much closed due to the pandemic!
