We grew up going on the same field trips, learning from the same teachers, and walking the same halls for 13 years. However, even though we were in the same class, we only went on one 'date' in 10th grade in Neal's big gray minivan. We quickly learned our communication skills needed some work and the interest fizzled out. After high school, we lost touch as we went our separate ways to college. However, 4 years after high school, Neal was sitting at a stoplight and saw Kim walking across the street to college. We started texting and decided to "catch up over coffee". After that date, we both knew we wanted to be together. We are grateful to the Lord for providentially bringing us together and pray that He will be our guide as we look forward to marriage.
