Julie is a native of Louisville, KY but left home at the age of 18 to study in Chicago and therefore has no discernible Southern accent or ability to navigate around her hometown without the aid of Google. She bounced around Chicago, London, DC and Boulder, mastering the art of packing and unpacking, all while building a career in digital product management, a job she still struggles to explain to her parents. Her internal temperature runs hotter than a normal human being, which explains why the thermostat at the wedding venue will likely be set to an 'arctic' 60F. She currently resides in Athens, GA but does not support any SEC teams.
Neal Wilkes
Mr.
Neal grew up in Conyers, GA, notable for having been the production location of many critically-acclaimed CW series. A self-described person 'with many opinions', Neal is a natural Creative Director, a role requiring one to judge the work of others on a daily basis. Despite the visual nature of his work, Neal is unable to tell you what his favorite color is. In his spare time, he has been known to drive Atlanta highways with NASCAR-like speed and precision and possesses a level of 'swamp knowledge' that has proved helpful during some of his and Julie's outdoor adventures. Neal currently resides in Athens, GA and once had to dispose of a dead pig.
Martine Handelman Duffy
Officiant
Martine is the granddaughter of Julie's beloved aunt, the late Mary Ann Duffy. She currently studies dramatic writing at New York University, is a skilled guitarist, and an International Debate champion, among many other talents. As she is way cooler than Julie & Neal combined, we are thrilled she will be officiating our ceremony. It should be noted that she is Canadian, which means we're expecting her to drop a couple of 'ehs' during the ceremony for good measure.
