FAQs

Question

What's the new date?

Answer

SATURDAY, APRIL 3, 2021. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm; please plan to arrive early to be seated before the event begins.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP using the e-vite sent via email ASAP. A final headcount is needed NO LATER than Wednesday, March 3, 2021.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes early by 4:30pm to the ceremony as we will start promptly at 5:00pm. You can arrive as early as 4:00pm to park and find your seats.

Question

What safety measures will be put in place considering COVID-19?

Answer

All guests will be required to wear masks and to social distance when possible. Food will be covered and distributed by wait staff, tables will be spread out at least 6 feet apart, and the dance floor will be outside under a covered tent. Thank you for your help in keeping our wedding day safe!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There will be signs pointing you to the parking lot at the back of the venue. When you turn into the driveway, follow a small gravel drive to the back of the venue where you will find a large parking lot with plenty of parking.

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors in the gardens in a grassy area; consider this when choosing shoes to wear. The cocktail hour will be at the same venue under a covered tent. Dinner will be seated outside under a covered tent and dancing will be outside as well!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Please don't take photos during the ceremony; we will have two professional photographers to capture our special day. We would like all phones and cameras to be put away during the ceremony. However, take as many pictures as you'd like during the reception! Feel free to post on social media using our hashtag: #blesstherainesdowninatlanta

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a cocktail hour following the ceremony with an open bar and hors d'oeurves while the wedding party takes pictures. A buffet style dinner will follow, and we will end the night with dancing!

Question

When will the wedding be over?

Answer

Please stay for dinner and dancing following the ceremony! We will send off the new Mr. and Mrs. at 9:45pm, and meet up afterwards for an afterparty at the DoubleTree Hotel Bar Lounge.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Garden Cocktail Attire: Ladies should wear lighter cocktail dresses or floral prints, and guys should wear button down shirts and ties in lighter hues.

Question

Are kids or dates welcome?
