Yes, we are planning to be married in both of our faiths. At this time we are unsure if this will take place privately, or during our reception.
A Nikah is an Islamic marriage contract that binds a couple in matrimony. It is a significant religious and social event in Muslim communities and is the central part of Islamic wedding ceremonies.
A Mehndi is a pre-wedding celebration. It is a festive event where the bride (and guests) have intricate henna designs applied to their hands and feet to celebrate the upcoming wedding. The event usually includes music and dancing and is generally attended by ladies invited to the wedding.
Generally traditional south asian style clothing such as a lehenga, anarkali, or salwar kameez is worn. If you are not comfortable wearing south-asian style clothing, you may wear something colorful and festive.

If you wish to fly in to the airport closest to our ceremony and reception spaces, we recommend flying in to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport
Cocktail Hour will be indoor/outdoor, weather permitting. The reception itself will be indoors, but we will have access to the outdoor area.
You may begin arriving at 5 pm. Our cocktail hour will start at 5:30 pm.
Valet will be available, however, the venue offers self-parking.
While we love your little ones, we respectfully request no children at our wedding. Thank you for making arrangements so you can celebrate with us!
