The most popular beach in St. Joseph and for good reason! Of the beach's 2,450 feet of Lake Michigan frontage, about 1,600 feet are dedicated for a public swimming area in the summer months. It is also located near Main St. which houses several restaurants, shops and bars.
Be sure to take a short walk out on to the pier at Tiscornia Park and get a close-up look at the historic St. Joseph North Pier Lighthouses that were recently restored. Lighthouse tours are also available!
Check out Downtown St. Joseph to get a feel for a popular Southwest Michigan beach town. The quaint streets of downtown St. Joseph host a variety of boutiques, cafes, bakeries, restaurants, wineries, and local breweries. St. Joseph is extremely walkable and has a charming, Victorian feel to it.
A St. Joe's trip is not complete without a stop at Silver Beach pizza! Silver Beach Pizza not only has incredible pizza, but is also a very unique venue- an Amtrak depot turned pizzeria offering front-row views of passing trains. In the summer they also open their 21+ upstairs rooftop offering a full bar menu along with local craft Michigan beers and their famous "Schooner" frosted beer.
