While we both appreciate the sentiment and tradition of gift giving at weddings, we are lucky in that we have everything we could possibly ask for, especially now that we found each other. :) As such, we ask guests to provide gifts towards our honeymoon fund. We hope you can understand.
We understand many guests have little ones, and while we both love spending time with them, we wish our wedding to be a child-free event. We look forward to celebrating together!
Our "travel" tab recommends the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Peekskill-Lower Hudson Valley by IHG. We did not block out hotel rooms, so there is flexibility with whether you wish to book a room there, or to find other hotels in the area. There is plenty of parking at the Factoria, so rest assured!
Right along the Peekskill train station is the Westchester Riverwalk, which provides a scenic walk to get to the Factoria. The walk is around 20 minutes long (1 mile), but we do understand the wedding is in late August. There is no shuttle bus, and you may have to Uber, so please be sure to note you are taking the train to get to the venue when you RSVP!
Of course! When you RSVP, please be sure to list any food allergies or culinary concerns you may have. The venue provides food in a family-style, so you will serve yourselves from larger plates. There will be menus on the tables noting which foods contain allergy-sensitive ingredients.
