Ybor City is great for night life but also has lots of other fun activities to try. Looking for some history? Check out the Ybor City Museum State Park. Feeling Artsy? Ybor is the new home of the Museum of Photographic Arts. Whether you are looking for a chill place to grab a coffee, smoke a cigar, or do a little thrift shopping, Ybor has all of that and then some. We recommend Blind Tiger for coffee and Yuppi for the best catfish in town.

TECO Street Car

TECO Street Car

One of our favorite things to do in Tampa is ride the street car. This is free (for now) and takes you between the historic Ybor area, Channelside, and Downtown Tampa. This is a great way to explore the City!

Sparkman Wharf

Sparkman Wharf

615 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602

Sparkman Wharf is a vibrant spot in Channelside. It's got food trucks, a beer garden, bowling, and tons of restaurants near by. There's usually live music or something fun going on here. If there's not a performance, grab a beer and hang out on the lawn. The street car has a stop here so definitely utilize this to avoid having to deal with Parking.

Water Street

This park is about 15-20 minutes from downtown Tampa and is worth the short drive if you need a break from the downtown scene. This park is $2.00 CASH to get in so do not forget your dollar bills. This is definitely one of my favorite spots in Tampa.
