Our story began freshman year at the University of Connecticut. After a mutual friend connected us, we would find any excuse to hang out with each other. We spent that semester at the library every night, grabbing dinner at South Dining Hall, sunbathing at Mirror Lake, and fighting about which NFL team was better (Ryan is a Jets fan and I'm Patriots fan). One day we went for a picnic at Horsebarn Hill to watch the sunset and we spent hours talking about anything and everything. The conversation came easy, the laughs were plenty, and the scenery was perfect. That's when we knew it was meant to be. In our ten years together we've continued to make wonderful memories. We've spent our years traveling, eating amazing food, attending sports games, watching our favorite shows, and parenting an adorable mini golden-doodle named Korra. When the time was right, we ventured back up to Horsebarn Hill (with Korra, of course) and Ryan popped the question. It was the place we fell in love and it was only right that it be the place where we begin the rest of our lives together.
