Gabo’s final residence has been preserved by his heirs as a cultural space, keeping intact the gardens and study pace he cultivated when he won the Nobel Prize in literature. Another Gabo site is the “Casa Estudio Cien Años de Soledad” (Lomas de San Ángel), where he locked himself away to write “100 Years of Solitude” in 1967.
