We are getting married

My mom was coming back from Unraine and I Decided to surprise her with a freshly painted room and staircase, I got a referral for this Young painting company that does a good job, i set an appointment for a free estimate, The appointment was set for the day i had a very tight schedule and the owner of the company was running late... Upon openning the gate he started zooming down my long driveway at my Middleburg house Awhile my French Bulldogs are running around of course I had to scream at him and tell him to slow down! I was pretty upset about his behavior and that he was late, when the door of the van opened and I saw this handsome, well groomed, smelling good, toll piece of an art I had to keep my composure and continue to be mad LOL but inside I was smiling, his big smile brought so much sunshine that I could see it all around him :) like an ora, He introduced himself as Kenneth ( but as i found out later he ised to go by Joe). I told him he can go inside see what he has to work with and call me back with an estimate as I had to take the puppies to the vet and I was running late because he was late. He called me back with a higher price than I anticipated to spend, after a short conversation I slashed the price in half hahaha and had him started working that day :) Taking down the old wallpaper was no fun and none of his workers could manage so he had to come back and do it all himself, Kenneth ended up spending few late days at my house and me being nice i offered a drink with a short conversation, i tried to be very professional and not pay attention to the hot body and the charm he was working on me 🤦‍♀️😂.

Our conversations became more and more interesting as we started sharing our life stories with each other. One day he was late ( very late) I was sitting at the table and working he came in the doorway and said I’m sorry I’m late I looked at him quickly and said “you’re lucky you’re so cute” his face immediately turned purple and he had this big smile on his face as his workers were following him and it was a moment of silence... i turned my face back to my computer and continued working like nothing just happened, he pretty much walked away and I didn’t see him for a few hours, that was a first flirt... later that evening he flirted back with a complement by calling me “ a pretty lady” We started talking on daily basis, he was either coming over to fix my car batteries Or kill the roosters Or fix something else around the house, put the pool together , We used to hide behind the trees or the pool or inside the horse trailer to kiss lol I felt like a teenager with him! It was nice to let the feelings grow based on plotanic relationship and get to know each other like people used to in the old days. Kenny made me feel so good ...always made me feel special and the center of his universe. He is easy-going fun and calm which balances my hiper personality. I can still feel our first kiss on my lips, I still remember the first I love you.

Ones upon the evening Kenny swings by my house, at this point my mom is already back from Ukraine, i wanted to introduce him to my collection of the liquor i had so both him and my mom followed me to the bar room — after a small chitchat my mom goes back to the kitchen and I follow her but with the way slower walk so we have a distance between us, as she turns the corner into the kitchen I all of the sudden get this funny feeling as I look at Kenny he asks me a question “ So did you sell the dog to the family that just came by?” On what I answer “yes I sure did” he lifts up his hand and gives me a high five, I get the tickled good feeling inside me with an idea that he’s going to pull me and kiss me but I said to myself — there’s no way he can pull this off ! there’s no way he’s that bold !! As I always was told that I am a pretty intimidating women (or so I thought until that moment) and sure enough he grabs my hand and pulls me towards him ... my heart started flattering and beating hard but I was super shocked and impressed at the same time and the thoughts were going through my head — how dare you! 😊 I catch that moment and I turn my head and the soft kiss lands on my cheek , I smile and walk away ... no wait I ran away ... I got in mycar and drove off leaving him in my house all by himself with my mom LOL ( Who was still in the kitchen ) I texted him later that evening and told him it was a very bold move ❤️ I will never forget this moment!
