Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The entire week will be a celebration, with numerous mini events taking place! We hope that you are able to come and participate in them all, but we also understand that a whole week may not be feasible for many of you. July 18 - Mehndhi and Jaggo July 19 - Sangeet July 20 - Amit's Maiyaan / Navpreet's Maiyaan and Choora Ceremony July 21 - Wedding July 22 - Reception

What do I wear?

Answer

Sangeet: This is a fun and vibrant event, so get colorful! Guests can choose to wear black tie optional, but we would love to see you all in traditional Indian attire! Wedding: We ask that you dress modestly at the Gurdwara (long pants/dresses) and to please cover your head when you enter the building. Men can wear a suit or a kurta pajama. Women can wear long dresses or traditional Indian suits. Reception: This is a black-tie optional event. Men typically wear a suit or a tux and women usually opt for dazzling lehengas or sarees.
