We're getting married!

To our loving friends and family: We're so glad you've made it to our wedding site. Our story began with the modern-classic approach to getting to know interesting people...Instagram. We first met in person in May 2021, a few weeks into the re-opening of NYC (post-pandemic, if you can say that). We had been following each other on Instagram for some time now, interacting with each others' stories and posts every so often and sending each other memes and discussing the latest sneaker trends. To be clear, because this is important to note, Jatinder followed me first. That said, I reached out to him first to get dinner. So, I guess we're tied. We decided to meet up in Williamsburg at an Italian restaurant for dinner that pivotal night in May. Upon seeing each other, the first thing I noticed about him were his sneakers (of course). I had the exact same pair. As we sat outside on that lively Brooklyn sidewalk, perusing the menu and getting to know each other, we chatted about what we wanted to eat. To my delight, he was open to sharing a bunch of items and was equally as excited about the ravioli as I was. "He gets it," I thought. The night went on and on...and on. We quite literally kept talking all night, enjoying each others' newfound company and finding comfort in our laughs. From there, the story continued naturally. We met when we could the rest of the summer, carving out time to do all of the things together that are now our staple favorites: watching movies at the dine-in theater, cooking bolognese or tacos with cheesy rice, listening to the Spooked podcast on drives, eating Cafe Mogador's kebab platter on a rainy night in. Our love for each other grew over a lot of meals, laughter, and thoughtful conversation, making our friendship and relationship bloom into what it is today. And the best part is, our story is only just beginning.
