Helpful facts!
Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

Lots of stuff. We will have some of our favorite foods - pizza, bread sticks, sliders, egg rolls, etc. The buffet will be open all night for people to graze - there's no formal sit down meal planned.

Question

How will I know which table to sit at?

Answer

That's easy! Just go pick one. There will be no seating chart - sit where you want with whomever you like.

Question

Anything fun to do at the reception?

Answer

Ummm.... yep! There will be two Whirlyball courts, laser tag, darts, pool, arcade games, jenga, cards, live music, and a jukebox. What more could you want?

Question

What is Whirlyball?

Answer

It's so odd that it's kind of hard to explain. Check out this video to help you understand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKlGAfWkaec

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

As the kids say... "you do you!" Whatever makes you happy. Ballgowns, tuxedos, jeans, footie pajamas, whatever you'd like.

Question

Is it open bar?

Answer

Unfortunately no - we couldn't justify taking out a second mortgage to have an open bar all night, but we will be hosting a few kegs / cases of wine. Bar does accept cash and credit cards.

Question

What's the deal with the registry (or the lack thereof)?

Answer

As Jesse so eloquently stated... "we're old, we don't need anything." That being said, if you have your heart set on getting something, please feel free to donate to our 'Adventure Fund' which will we use to create new and fantastic memories. Also - a portion of our Adventure Fund will be donated to our favorite charities (MN Fire, Ruff Start Rescue, and CROSS Food Bank).

Question

What about our kids?

Answer

Bring them! We will have kids games and activities to help keep them entertained.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, lots of parking. Also, you can leave your car overnight if needed. Please respect our wishes and do not drink and drive. If you need a ride to or from the ceremony, we have Lyft and Uber. If nothing else, let us know and we will get you home safely.

Question

How late does this shindig go?

Answer

The official send off is scheduled for 11pm, but for those who know us (which should be all of you) - we like to live in the moment. So maybe we'll leave at 11pm or maybe we'll stay until 2am... only time will tell.
