Achala and Navin met in 2018 at the University of Iowa. They've lived in Iowa City and Minneapolis, and drove 27 hours with their dog Willow to move to San Francisco, where they currently reside. They've traveled the world together, making many memories, and can't wait to share their wedding day with you. Thank you for being a part of their story with your love.

Navin and the SF crew tricked Achala into thinking she was going to a "girls' brunch." Really, they were driving her to Navin, who was shooing away tourists and waiting to propose to her at Fort Baker. Once she realized what was happening, Achala burst into tears. Meanwhile, Navin and Achala's friends and family were setting up decorations in their apartment, leading to a double surprise for Achala, who, you guessed it, burst into tears once again. The weekend continued with an Anderson Paak concert, an afternoon tea in Marin, and a friends & family dinner in SF, making it the best weekend of Achala's life (good work Navin)...until wedding weekend.

After Navin's proposal, it was Achala's turn. Achala designed Navin's ring to complement hers, and crafted a plan to take Navin to the rooftop of their apartment in San Francisco at sunset for a beautiful view of the city. Navin conveniently scheduled a hair cut appointment at the exact time she had planned to do this, and Achala had to come up with a lie to convince him to change the time of his appointment - this is where her poor lying skills gave away her plans. Navin returned from his appointment to a rooftop picnic with sunflowers (our favorite flowers), truffles, and champagne. Although he saw right through her lies and knew what was about to happen, he still acted surprised. Achala gave a sweet, heartfelt speech to Navin and proposed to him, and he said yes (shocker)!
