Whenever people ask how we met, we can't help but look at each other and smile because it's a fun story to tell. Our story begins with a little nudge from Anna's childhood friend, Jennifer. Jennifer used to live in Boston with her now husband Akshay, who is Krishna's childhood friend and roomate at the time. After getting to know Krishna, she thought we would be compatible, so she encouraged us to exchange our Instagram handles. We messaged each other only a few times, and neither of us expected anything to happen since we lived on opposite sides of the country. In March 2022, Anna went on a trip to Boston to visit Jennifer, and that's when she met Krishna face-to-face for the first time. We instantly hit it off and continued to talk to each other via text or FaceTime every day since. In July of the same year, Krishna made the journey to San Francisco to visit Anna. Ever since then, we made the effort to see each other in person every month. Whenever Krishna came to California, Anna tried really hard to make his time enjoyable to convince him to eventually move to the West Coast. She took him to all her favorite places in the area (You can check out some of these places in the "Things to Do" section of this website!) Her amazing family and friends helped with the convincing as well <3 Lucky for Anna, it worked like a charm, and Krishna officially moved to California in February of 2023. Gleefully, Krishna proposed to Anna on the first morning of our holiday in Hawaii. Despite our super casual attire of pajamas, we both couldn't be happier. It was extra special that Anna's family was there as well and we got to spend the rest of our trip as a newly engaged couple. We are so grateful for all of you for being part of our journey. Each of you has been a positive influence in our lives in some shape or form. We would not be able to welcome this day without your love and support. We are so excited to spend this day with you all!
