Science Museum of Virginia

This is a fun interactive science museum where Sam and I used to volunteer at! They have an enormous Foucault pendulum and an interactive animal exhibit among others.

Brown's Island

Richmond, VA

Brown's Island is an artificial continental island on the James River in Richmond, Virginia, formed by the Haxall Canal. Part of the city's James River Park, it is the popular venue of a large number of outdoor concerts and festivals in the spring and summer.

The Edgar Allan Poe Museum is a museum located in the Shockoe Bottom neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia, dedicated to American writer Edgar Allan Poe. Though Poe never lived in the building, it serves to commemorate his time living in Richmond.
