What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! The wedding dress code is semi-formal. Please avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride such as white, off-whites, creams, ivory, etc. No jeans please

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Our open bar begins at cocktail hour at 4:30pm. Please note the bar will be closed for one hour from 5:30-6:30pm and will reopen at 6:30 pm and stay open until 10:30pm. Beer, wine, and cocktails will be available.

Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! We will have a shuttle available for our guests to use both before the ceremony and during/after the reception. The shuttle can take our guests back and forth from the hotels (the Inn and Tamarack club) to the venue. Please note the last drop off before the ceremony will be at 3:45 pm at the Yodeler Lodge, so please plan accordingly. The shuttle service will resume at 9 pm and go until 1 am. The shuttle can also transport guests anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the Yodeler lodge (including the Village of Ellicottville) so if you are staying at a different hotel, airbnb, etc, please let us know if you plan on using the shuttle so we can let the driver know your location.

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking lot next to the Yodeler lodge that is free for guests to use. Please plan accordingly if you want to consume alcohol, and consider using the shuttle service.

When does the ceremony begin?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4 pm on the Champagne Sundeck at the Yodeler Lodge. Please plan on arriving 30 minutes early!

Will the ceremony and reception take place inside or outside?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors on the Champagne Sundeck next to the Yodeler Lodge. Cocktail hour will also be held outdoors following the ceremony. The reception will be held inside the Yodeler Lodge. The average temperature in Ellicottville in October ranges from 50-60 degrees, so please plan accordingly!

When do I RSVP by?

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP by August 31st, 2024, it will be marked as "No". We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in a timely manner. We are not able to accept late RSVPs. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a date, plus-one, or my children?

Answer

Due to budgetary restrictions, we are only able to accommodate those who are specifically listed on your invitation. If you have a plus-one, it will be noted on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Are there other hotel/lodging options other than The Inn at Holiday Valley and the Tamarack Club?

Answer

Yes! Ellicottville has a lot to offer in terms of lodging options. If you do not want to stay at the Inn or Tamarack club, we recommend checking out Airbnb, VRBO, or Holiday Valley Rentals. There is also lodging available in the Village (a little over a mile away from the venue) at the Wingate by Wyndham hotel (phone number 716-699-6000). Please note we do NOT have room blocks available at this hotel.
