Nava and Luke’s love story officially began in the summer of 2019—but the stars had been aligning long before. Both proud University of Arizona alumni, they somehow never crossed paths on campus, despite being in the same graduating class, the same business school, and living in neighboring Greek houses. Fate clearly had other plans. After college, Luke moved back to his hometown, Chicago, while Nava accepted a new job - also in Chicago. They first (knowingly) crossed paths in 2018 at Lollapalooza and again six months later at another concert in Chicago. But it wasn't until Coachella 2019 that fate would finally bring them together. Amid desert sunsets and festival magic, they connected deeply, bonding over music, memories, and future dreams. By the end of the weekend, something special had sparked. Back in Chicago, friendship quickly turned into love. They embraced “Summertime Chi” to the fullest, playing tennis in Grant Park, running along the lakefront, and cheering on the Cubs at Wrigley Field. When Covid-19 hit just one year later, the world paused, but their relationship did not. In lockdown, they found comfort in each other, always knowing how to make the other laugh. It was during that time that they built a home together and truly became each other’s person. With Nava diving into her MBA and Luke preparing for the CFA, they supported each other through late-night study sessions, career milestones, and moments of self-doubt, building a relationship grounded in shared ambition and unwavering support. After years of laughter, late-night takeout, and plenty of adventures, they planned their dream trip to Europe in 2024. On their very first day in Paris - the city of love - Luke nervously got down on one knee to pop the question, and Nava tearfully said, “YES!” Inspired by their Parisian engagement, Nava and Luke couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to say “I do” than The Olana Estate: a French château nestled deep in the heart of Texas.
