Once upon a time, on a magical platform called Hinge, Angelo and Abby both swiped right. Abby was on a quest to find a pickleball, karaoke, and cornhole partner (sorry Tess), while Angelo was looking for someone authentic, with the right kind of crazy. After a few days of texting, Abby, in her usual impatient fashion, beat Angelo to the punch and asked him out. They went to an amazing Greek restaurant in Astoria, enjoyed the best baklava this side of the Mississippi, engaged in some friendly competition at a barcade, and talked for hours on end. Little did they know, that night, they both met their match in every sense of the word.

On an unassuming Thursday night, Angelo surprised Abby with a dinner at the same restaurant they had their second date. After dinner, Angelo surprised her again by taking her to a private karaoke room near her office in Herald Square. They spent almost an hour belting out their favorite songs at the top of their lungs, laughing and having the best time. Eventually, they decided to slow things down and Angelo sang Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis. As the song ended, Angelo got down on one knee and asked Abby to be his lifelong karaoke partner. Of course, she said yes. They both found exactly what they were looking for (and more)—Abby found her karaoke partner, and Angelo, well, he definitely found the crazy he was looking for in Abby.
