Koumbaro
Koumbaros/koumbara – the equivalent to a Greek best man or maid of honor Before the wedding, the couple has to select a koumbaros (man) or koumbara (woman). They are the equivalent to the best man or maid of honor, but in the Greek tradition they are much more than that. Mike and George have been best friends since before they could walk. They were alter boys together, eating all the bread befor communion. They had eachothers backs on the football field and basketball court at Moffat County High School. Their friendship and bond continued at college, each of them making the long trips back and forth between Colorado State University and Montana's Rocky Mountain College. After college they've continued to have eachothers backs.

Fun Fact: George was Mike and Megan's Koumbaro! (what were they thinking at the time...jk) If it wasn’t for Megan I’m not sure George would be alive for us to be having this wedding. Megan is a saint. She kept tabs on these boys and has the stories to prove it wasn’t anything but eventful. George was Mike and Megan’s Koumbaro at their wedding and was blessed with the honor of baptizing their first child Maddy. Naturally when George brought Nattiel home for the first time Megan told her to run… just kidding. But all four of us became best friends and we wouldn’t want anyone else up there with us.
Angelo Raftopoulos
Best Man
Angelo has known George his whole life… because he is George's younger brother. These two share a bond that is thicker than blood. Growing up on a ranch leads you to become independent, imaginative, and irresponsible. When George wanted to be a cowboy, he had to take his little brother with him. When George wanted to jump (wreck) his bike off the loading dock at Brown's Park, Angelo was right there with him. These two, and Mari Katherine, had to learn how to entertain and watch after themselves as they grew up on the ranch where there were no other kids to play with. This bond has continued with both of them taking on the reins from John and running the family business to keep the legacy alive.
Ellie Hughes
Maid of Honor
Ellie has been Nattiel's best friend for over ten years. Ellie was newly married to her husband Bryan when she offers Nattiel a place to live temporarily. Bryan was a good sport about sharing his newlywed life with Nattiel. Ellie and Nattiel would stay up late wathcing funny movies and learning new dance moves. Ellie is the kind of person that will give you the shirt off her back and the last dollar in her pocket. Ellie is like the sister Nattiel never had. She is the mama to a beautiful family; twins Ryaln & Tynlie (6) & Baby Kinsley 6 months.
Bob Burford

Fun Fact: George was Bob and Brook's Koumbaro Bob and George have been family friends since before they were born. Shirley, Bob’s mom, and Marianna, George’s mom, where best friends in high school. Bob’s oldest child, Braxton, is George’s oldest god child. He also has a daughter named Brilee and was blessed with an amazing wife, Brooke. George and Bob enjoy feeding cattle together in Scottsbluff, NE. You may have seen Bob recently on national news when the cyclone bomb hit last year. He was the guy that explained how feedlot owners and ranchers were doing everything in their power to protect the animals from the elements and never lost his cowboy hat in 50 mph winds during the interview.
Jorgiea Raftopoulos

Jorgiea is Georges cousin and Nattielsclose friend. Ms. Jorgiea is the speech therapist at the Moffat County school district and is a bada$$ at her job (all the kids love her). She also has a love for ranching, hiking, working out and her dog Sophie. Jorgiea has always been a friend to the couple. Jorgiea helps keep Nattiel motivated in the gym and always available to lend a hand pushing grocery carts full of food for hunters. It’s safe to say that Sophie's favorite yard in the neighborhood is Nattiel and George’s. Which is great because we get to see them almost daily!
Casey Adams

Fun Fact: George was Casey’s Best Man Casey and Georges friendship goes back to college and probably started in a sale barn. These two have bought everything you can buy from a sale barn; heifers, steers, longhorns, holsteins, horses, goats, pigs and even a watusi! They've continued their shopping habits together over the years in multiple sale barns around the country. Today, Casey is a huge part of George’s new venture, Loma Livestock. Casey has a beautiful wife, Cody. The two of them have a son, Cade, who is a little over a year old.
Justyne Dembowski
Bridesmaid
Justyne is Nattiel’s niece. You could say that they are more like sisters with only eight years between them. These two shared a lot of things growing up. A passion for showing horses, even the same horse. A passion for showing steers, even the same block-n-chute. A passion for the sport of volleyball, but not the same number or position. You could even say that these two share similar physical characteristics and mannerisms. Heck they even share the same year they are getting married. Jusytne is getting married the summer of 2020 to longtime boyfriend Heath.
Luke Wilson
Groomsman
Luke is as true of a friend as they come. George and Luke have been partners in crime since high school. They share the stories to prove it. It’s safe to say that they gave their parents something to worry about at night. Those stories are the reason that these two are the men they are. They continue to create stories to this day but now the worry has been passed on to Luke’s wife, Sam. Their son Stratton (2.5) is a spitting image of Luke. Their daughter Kresley (7), is the sweetest little girl on this planet.
Samantha Wilson

Sam is the bride to Luke and one of the greatest people on this earth. George has been so lucky to have his friends marry great people that help keep track of everyone. Nattiel got even luckier to gain all of the amazing women as friends! Sam does everything under the sun. She recently opened her own business, Yampa Valley Kids. She ropes at brandings. She cooks for everyone at brandings! She brings the kids to help on the ranch. We are so grateful to have her in our lives.
