I’ve seen firsthand how she has walked through some of life’s hardest seasons with grace, never once losing her ability to love deeply and fiercely. After years of building a life rooted in family, faith, and purpose, she came into my life—and everything changed for me. Together, we’ve filled our days with laughter, adventure, and a kind of love that truly feels like home. From boating on the Columbia River to our Las Vegas getaways, to taking a leap into something bold and beautiful—living full-time in a motorhome by the Florida coast—she has embraced every moment with an open heart and a joyful spirit. I’ve also loved watching her step into one of her newest roles—being an amazing bonus mom to my two Chihuahuas, Maddie and Lucie. That means more to me than I can put into words. Now, as she steps into this next chapter, I get to stand at the end of the aisle, waiting for her, while her mom, Lynn, walks her down. It’s a moment that means everything to both of us. From our glamping adventures and craft projects to baking Christmas cookies together, quoting movie lines, competitive games of dice, and cherished family BBQs, some of my most treasured memories have been made right alongside her. When I lost my first husband Justin in a plane crash, my mom never left my side. She moved in and together we shared a home, raised my son Brian and my daughter Julie, and faced life as a team for over 13 years. Her strength, comfort, and unwavering love carried me through the darkest season of my life and into the light. From the moment Dean came into our lives, my mom embraced him with open arms and welcomed him into our family with the same warmth and love she gives to everyone she holds dear. The fact that Dean adores her comes as no surprise — because once Lynn Talkington loves you, you feel it in every way. When she walks me down the aisle, she will do so not only as my mom but on behalf of my late father James — and there is no one more deserving of that honor. Natisha and her family have known him for 21 years, and in that time he has shown up for them in ways that go far beyond friendship. To Brian, Shane was a steady, encouraging presence during some of the most formative years of his life — the kind of man who showed up when it mattered, helped him earn his driver's license, and believed in him every step of the way. Kind, charismatic, and genuinely one of the great ones — Shane was the only person Natisha and Dean could imagine standing at the altar with them. So they asked him the only way that felt right: with a custom golf ball made just for him. He said yes, and Natisha and Dean couldn't be more honored to have Shane marry them on June 20th. Shane is married to Jenn, Natisha's best friend — so having him officiate isn't just meaningful, it's perfect. And if the guests are lucky, Shane just might serenade the newlyweds with his favorite Kane Brown song, "This Is Perfect."

And then there's Asa — just 8 months old and already the youngest, most irresistible member of the wedding party. She may not know exactly what's happening on June 20th, but she will absolutely be the sweetest thing in the room. Natisha and Dean love these girls with their whole hearts — the way only grandparents can — and having both of them down that aisle makes this day truly complete.
