Yes! We are using the "universal registry" through Zola, which can be found under the "registry" tab. It's very simple to use! This online registry allows us to choose items from multiple stores while keeping everything in one spot for our guests who wish to buy gifts. It also allows you to "chip in" on larger items or "experiences" -- check it out! If you find an item at a lower price from an approved online retailer, reach out to support@zola.com and they'll match it if the item qualifies.
We hope our wedding will be a good excuse to break out your favorite cocktail attire! While Cocktail Hour in The Alley is outside, it is all paved so don't be scared to wear your favorite high heels (as long as they are dancing approved!).
In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests who are formally invited on your wedding invitation.
If your family is formally invited on your invitation, your children are welcome! Do keep in mind that this is an adult event where alcohol will be present, music will not be edited and our venue does not have a separate room to accommodate children's activities. We love your kids...we really do! Just some things to consider when deciding whether to bring the little ones along or not.
The ceremony will be starting at 5:00 PM -- we ask our guests to arrive 15-20 minutes early to mingle, enjoy the live strings and find a seat.
There is ample parking available in adjacent lots & on the street.
While weather in SETX can be unpredictable at any time of the year, the average temperatures in May typically rise up to the mid 80's during the day and drop down to the mid 60's in the evening/nighttime. Keep in mind that it will be spring time and rain is a possibility.
We have hired a great photographer to document our wedding ceremony for us and we are asking that no pictures with cellphones or other cameras be taken at that time. During Cocktail Hour and The Reception, feel free to snap away and to share on any social media you like...just be sure to use our wedding hashtag!
Immediately following the ceremony, guests will be directed out to The Alley for Cocktail Hour. The bride and groom will take a few minutes to themselves to reflect on the events that just occurred (we are married!!). Afterward, they will be joining in on Cocktail Hour as well to mingle with guests and enjoy the live music until the formal reception, which starts at 6:30 PM.
No! Two signature his & hers cocktails, along with wine & champagne, will be served during Cocktail Hour or until they run out. Beer & wine selections will be available for The Reception. Don't forget bartenders appreciate tips! :)
